Ganz was sitting at the Ruins door. Where he was, he was safe. Safe from harm, shame, and even his own Brother Papyrus, who he knew for a fact was standing beyond the door.
Ganz was staring at the wall, with concentration, and intent. To anyone else, this may seem like something odd, out of place. But to Ganz, someone was standing there. Someone who understood Ganz' fear, Ganz' agony and pain. Someone who understood Ganz' guilt. However, this same individual, disagreed with his guilt. This person, believed that he should fight back. That he should take revenge. This person, was Ganz' darker self, his inner negativity. This person was Mel. "Dude, you have to fight." Mel shot out. "No. I... I don't want to fight, I don't want to hurt anyone anymore. I don't want to cause anymore pain." Ganz responded shakily. Mel was getting irritated. "Ganz. Do you want this pain to end?" "Of course." "Well then, sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. Or rather in this case, pain with pain." Ganz was irritated. "No! I don't want to hurt anyone anymore! I don't want to hurt Pap anymore than I have!" Mel was grinding his teeth at this point. "Then how do you expect to fix this?" he grumbled. "I... Don't know..." Ganz replied shakily.
Mel calmed down. "Look. Papyrus, no matter how hard you try, will not stop to listen to you. Mainly because you've been branded a traitor, and a murderer. and THATS just the tip of the iceberg. Do you think Papyrus is going to stop, and ask 'aww, you got something to say Ganzy?' No. His main priority, is to make sure that you, my friend turn to dust, along with EVERYONE in here. That means Frisk, Toriel, and Undyne. You have to fight, there is no avoiding it." Ganz had been readying a reply. That was until he heard a loud banging and slashing. He saw the door to the ruins shake. It was Papyrus, continuing his attempt to destroy the door. Mel stared at the door. "Your Brother sure is going at it."
Ganz said nothing.
Two hours had passed. The slashing stopped. Ganz and Mel could hear Papyrus conversing with the Guards dogs. the two could faintly make out what they were saying.
"Someone else.... insane...." He heard Papyrus say. "But..... nobody...." He heard a voice reply. 'Probably a Delta' Ganz thought. "Quiet!... Listening!" He heard Papyrus say. Mel and Ganz heard footsteps and crunching snow, getting louder and approaching the door. Mel and Ganz sat, back towards the door. The crunching began to retreat, but not as loud as when in approached. Papyrus was standing at the door. "I know you're there, Brother. You will soon learn that you cannot run from your troubles. And when you do, I will have already dusted you, you worthless piece of garbage." Mel was getting pissed. "Say that straight to my face, asshole!" he screamed. However, the only person who could see and hear him was Ganz. "Oh, and one more thing, I know the Queen is in there. When I break this door, I will personally deliver her to Asgore, so that he may execute her himself."
Ganz was strangely angered by this, he replied. "Well, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it." Papyrus snickered. "Soon we will." Papyrus left, but not before pummeling the door one more time.
Mel looked at Ganz with an angered stare. "Well? You heard him. His gonna kill us, and Asgore will kill the Queen." Ganz tried to come up with a reply to rebut Mel's, but found that he was right; if he didn't act, everyone, including himself, would die. Ganz began to shed tears. "Alright, but you have to agree....... You have to agree not to kill Papyrus. Can you do that for me?" Mel lightened. "Fine, I wont kill him." Ganz smiled as he handed control over to Mel. as Mel took control, things began to change. Gans floof went pink around the edges. His eyes began to bleed a black liquid. his right eye closed, and his left eye's blue glow quickly turned pink and yellow. His bones darkened, and so did his clothes; going from dark blue, to dark purple. Mel stood up and stretched. "Ahh. now this, THIS feels good." Mel gave a mischievous grin to the door. "Heh. Alright Papyrus. I'm coming for 'ya."
Mel teleported outside the door to see three deltas standing patrol. They quickly noticed him, but faltered and fell speechless to the Skeleton's new appearance. Mel grinned. "ill make quick work of you mutts". Mel quickly slaughtered two of the deltas. They tried to put up a fight, but were overwhelmed by constant blasters. mel crippled the third and asked: "Where's your Captain?" The delta spit on him. "I dont converse with traitor scum!" Mel was agitated. "Fine, if you dont tell me, ill personally scoop Asgore's brains out myself. Or- you can tell me where your captain is. Which one is worse?" The Delta was trembling. "You wouldnt..." Mel chortled. "Oh but I would. and you KNOW it." The Delta gave in. "He's at the pier, hes at the flat" Mel straightened. "Thanks, pal." then quickly dusted The Delta.
Papyrus was walking alone on the waterfall pier. (The second undyne chase)
he heard a voice. "Hey! Asshole!" Papyrus smiled maniacally at the voice. The voice was of Ganz' but slightly distorted.
Papyrus turned around and immediately was sent flying backward by a claw across the face. Papyrus scrambled to get up. He put his hand to his new wound. It was bleeding profusely, and had cut into the bone. he saw Mel standing there, blood on his hand, Smiling like he had just won the lottery. Papyrus began with "Well, you've finally decided to come from the door, Ganz, I nev-" But was immediately cut off by; OH pal, I appreciate the comparison, but Ganz aint home right now, and he left me in charge. so with that........ Do you wanna have a bad time?" Mel finished. "Etch.. This should be easy" Papyrus scoffed. Papyrus lunged for Mel's neck, and Mel dodged it like it was nothing. Mel smiled: "What? Did 'a think I was gonna stand there and take it?" Immediately after that, Mel activated Karmic Retribution, and launched a bone attack at Papyrus, who dodged all but one which had grazed him. His HP bar was now at 185/200 . "Know, I don't appreciate those threats you shot towards the Queen; having Asgore execute her himself? Christ, youre sadistic." Papyrus glared at Mel "Well, you wont be able to appreciate, much less feel ANYTHING once IM done with you." Papyrus raised a large bone from the ground, and held it as if it were a sword. Mel cared not. In fact, Mel straightened his stance and put his hands in his pockets. His eye flashed, and 6 Blasters appeared.
Papyrus stood there speechless. Mel noticed this, and exploited it. "I know. Amazing, right? in fact... I guess you could say, they would take you a-BLAST!" Mel snapped his fingers at Papyrus. As the blasters fired, Papyrus snapped back into reality, and dodged the attack by a hair. The blasters dissipated. Papyrus smiled. "My turn." Papyrus' marks glowed as bright as a fire, and 6 blasters of his own were summoned. Mel jumped and felt a little intimidated, but he quickly pushed those emotions down, and summoned six bones from the ground to destroy the blasters before they could....'discharge'.
The battle raged on for hours; Blue attacks flying everywhere. Claw marks in the ground, Scorch spots form the blasters. Both were equally exhausted from the battle. But Mel would not lose, he would not let Papyrus win. Mel stood straight, and as Papyrus got up, Mel shouted "I'm NOT gonna let you hurt Ganz anymore!" Mel's eye flashed, and Papyrus was sent flying. Mel had a strong grasp on Papyrus' soul, sending Papyrus flying with blue magic. Mel slammed papyrus into the ground and into nearby walls. Papyrus' health bar was now down to 13/200. Papyrus was struggling to get up. Mel stood there, satisfied with what he'd done. "Alright. I'm finished. I'm gonna let Ganz take back control. But before I do. Imma make one thing clear to you. Ganz didn't intend to attack you that day, He wanted the pain to stop. And he sure as hell was reluctant to let me do this to you. But after a little reasoning, I got him to agree." Mel threw up his hands. "Whelp Ganz. I'm done." and immediately after that, Ganz had returned to his normal form. He felt immense guilt. he didn't want this. He didn't want to hurt Papyrus, He sunk to the ground, and began to bawl. Papyrus noticed this and felt for once, guilt. Guilt that he had put his brother through this without trying to listen or understand. He felt guilt, for never taking into account that his Brother was in serious pain. Pain so intense that someone was created as a physical manifestation; Melancholy. Guilt, for always putting himself before others. Guilt for the hatred that lied inside him. he had limped towards Ganz, fell to his knees, and wrapped his arms tightly around him. He could hear Ganz repeating, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." Papyrus began to shed tears too.
"I know, I know. I am too"
Well that was a total shitstorm. aaaanyway, That was my interpretation of how the TP ending would come. Probably not. I hope you enjoyed reading this
